鎮痛：具有抗炎功效，用於治療頭痛、關節痛、關節炎、神經痛和痛風等症狀。
抗菌：對鏈球菌、雙球菌和各種葡萄球菌有抑制功效，尤其是針對引起流感、發燒、呼吸道和泌尿生殖系統等疾病的菌株。因此，有效治療膀胱炎、尿道炎或陰道炎感染，包括細菌（大腸桿菌、葡萄球菌和鏈球菌）和真菌（白色念珠菌）的感染。

祛痰：能促進呼吸道的黏液排出，幫助緩解咳嗽、支氣管炎和感冒等症狀。

血管保養：可用作減充血劑和靜脈通絡劑，適用於痔瘡和靜脈曲張。

皮膚護理：具抗真菌和抗炎作用，能幫助治療皮膚感染、黴菌問題、濕疹和皮疹、牙齦炎，還可以用於減少皮膚發炎和刺激。

使用方法：
芳香擴散：透過香薰爐或加濕器使香氣慢慢擴散，建議每日用4-6滴，以淨化空氣並緩解流感症狀。
芳香軟膏：將 10 滴純精油與200ml中性乳霜混合，每日三次按摩胸腔。建議在痙攣性咳嗽的情況下，使用溫暖的羊毛布覆蓋，以發揮其解痙作用。
薰蒸：預防患上支氣管炎、鼻竇炎和呼吸道問題，將10滴純精油滴入一盆沸水中，用毛巾蓋住頭部，閉上嘴，用鼻子吸氣，重覆動作直到水不再冒出蒸汽。

注意：
白千層精油是一種強勁的精油. 高濃度使用時,會刺激皮膚和黏膜組織,使用時要謹慎。

Properties and benefits
Analgesic: when massaged onto painful parts it has an anti-inflammatory action, useful in the symptomatic treatment of headaches, joint pain, arthritis, neuralgia and gout.

Antibiotic: its vapors have a bactericidal action against beta-hemolytic streptococci, diplococci, and various species of staphylococci, especially against certain strains responsible for flu and fever,respiratory tract and urogenital system disorders. Consequently, cajeput essential oil finds valid application in the treatment of infections such as cystitis, urethritis or of the first tract of the vaginal canal, both of bacterial (infections by Enterobacteriaceae, staphylococci and streptococci) and fungal origin (species caused by Candida albicans proliferation).

Balsamic: The mucolytic and expectorant properties of this essence make it an effective remedy for treating inflammation of the respiratory system such as colds, sore throats and coughs.

Vasoprotector: Cajeput essential oil can also be used as a decongestant and phlebotonic in cases of haemorrhoids and varicose veins.

Skin soother: in cases of skin affections, wounds, dermatosis, gingival inflammation, it helps soothe redness and irritation.

Use and practical tips
Environmental diffusion: 1 drop of Cajeput essential oil per square metre of the room where it is diffused, by means of an essential oil burner or in the water of radiator humidifiers, to purify the air and in case of flu symptoms

Balsamic ointment: 10 drops in a neutral cream, mix and massage on the chest, three times a day, covering with a warm woollen cloth, for its antispasmodic properties, which recommend its use in cases of spasmodic coughs

Suumigation: put 10 drops of cajeput essential oil in a basin of boiling water. Cover your head with a towel and inhale through your nose with your mouth closed, interrupting from time to time until the water no longer gives of steam, in case of bronchitis, sinusitis and congestion of the respiratory tract.
